The Legal Department advises the Presidential Board, the administration, the Central University Administration and the departments on all legal matters (except university studies and examination law).

• Statutes, guidelines and regulations
• Contracts, e.g. fee contracts
• Legal supervision of the student body
• university elections
• Complaints office for discrimination issues
• University groups

The administrative unit Study and Examination Law (SPR) is in charge of matters relating to study and examination law!

Compliance supports compliance with laws, guidelines, standards, internal and contractual regulations, voluntary codes (except data protection), advises in the run-up to examinations (annual financial statements, internal audit) and takes on project and special tasks in the area of compliance.
