- They can list the learning strategies they use most frequently and identify areas where there is potential for improvement. Based on this potential for improvement, students are able to decide which workshops would be most beneficial for them.
- Students who study different learning methods can select the ones that suit them best.

On the one hand, it focuses on teaching speed-reading techniques, which are put into practice immediately through practical exercises to help participants assess and improve their own reading speed. On the other hand, it aims to encourage participants to reflect on their own reading skills in order to support and further develop their comprehension of academic texts. Through practical examples of reading techniques tailored to university studies, the aim is to make dealing with academic texts easier and to improve one’s ability to do so. One objective of the workshop is to teach participants how to use reading techniques selectively, so that they can subsequently use them effectively and productively in their own university studies.
learning outcome
- Participants use strategies for orientation and skimming.
- Participants use strategies for reproductive and productive reading.
- Participants identify the purpose of reading and the text type.

In this workshop, we will give you some tips on how to prepare for and follow up on the lab practicals, as well as on how to write your lab report.
