The 2019 SchreibNight is coming ...
The programme of the SchreibNight is set: This year, students at Fulda University of Applied Sciences will once again be able to work on their term papers, theses or other texts until 2 a.m. on Thursday, 7 March, without constantly having to nervously check their watches. The event starts at 5 p.m. for everyone who wants to write in the company of others, get advice if needed or take a break in the SchreibNight Café.
Having trouble finding suitable literature? We are pleased to be able to offer the tried and tested individual research consultations again in cooperation with the library. Two database professionals (also known as librarians) will be on site from 6 to 7 pm.
You can follow us on Facebook at @Schreibwerkstatt.Fulda.

| Workshops | |
|---|---|
| 6 pm | Strengthening the red thread - approx. 1 h |
After a brief look at examples, the workshop will focus on strengthening the red thread in your own short text paragraphs. Participants must bring paragraphs or sub-paragraphs from their own texts, otherwise meaningful participation is not possible. | |
| 8 pm | Quickly comprehending texts - approx. 1 h |
The masses of text at university sometimes seem insurmountable. In our workshop you will learn a method to cope with the mountain of books and to organise text work effectively. | |
| 22 h | Citing for advanced learners - approx. 1.5 h |
How do I incorporate sources into my text to advance my own argument - and avoid plagiarism at the same time? The workshop is not an introduction to citation in general and is aimed at students who already have some experience in academic writing and reading. |
