The diverse tasks in the design and production of media for e-learning activities at the university require a corresponding technological basis, as well as the ability and knowledge to use it accordingly.
TV studio
The e-learning lab operates a modern TV studio with a separate audio area together with the Department of Applied Computer Science. These facilities offer all the technical possibilities for professional productions.
Media lending
The Central E-Learning Lab has limited resources of teaching media, as well as mobile and stationary hardware, which are lent for teaching and research activities.
Interactive whiteboards
Interactive whiteboards can do much more than blackboards. They are more than a surface for writing and drawing. Film clips and animations or images from the Internet can be incorporated into the whiteboard image and what has already been written down can be rearranged flexibly. There are many advantages to using interactive whiteboards. We are happy to introduce you to this medium didactically and methodically.
Voting systems
The Central E-Learning Lab has several electronic voting systems. These are used, for example, to check the level of knowledge at a certain point during the course, or to record students' opinions. The result of this TED poll is interactively visible to all immediately and can be used to activate the students. It can also be used for dialogue-based evaluation.
Virtual learning spaces
Adobe Connect is a web conferencing and training solution for real-time meetings, e-learning and online presentations. It is time and location independent and only requires a headset and a standard web browser. Through the German Research Network, we make these virtual learning spaces available to you on request.
