Fulda University of Applied Sciences supports researchers in communicating with the public.
Advice
What is important in media communication? How can your own research be communicated via digital channels? What needs to be considered when planning communication in the context of research and transfer projects? And which topic is suitable for which channel? We advise you and implement the communication measures together with you.
Placement of experts
As an expert on a topic, we can put you in touch with the media and also offer the university's own formats for research communication, such as our research podcast "Gesprächsstoff".
Further education
We organise further training in science communication so that researchers can expand their communication knowledge.
Support in crisis situations
Even if a crisis situation should arise, we are there to support you. Scientists who are affected by (digital) attacks and need personal advice can also contact the SCICOMM-SUPPORT (in German), which is offered free of charge by specially trained science communicators. The service is available by telephone 365 days a year from 7 am to 10 pm.
The basis for our work
The basis for all our communication activities is the guideline for good science PR (in German), which was jointly published by the initiative Wissenschaft im Dialog and the Bundesverband Hochschulkommunikation.
