Moving start to the semester

With the start of the 2025/2026 winter semester, University Sports presented itself with a variety of information and induction events.

The kick-off event to introduce University Sports ("University Sports - what is it?") took place on Thursday, 9 October 2025. At 08:30, University Sports welcomed around 50 interested people to the sports hall on campus. The induction event comprised a presentation of the university sports team, the extensive range of courses on offer and the registration process. In addition, special projects such as FiduS and upcoming events such as the Campus Cup next January were presented. Between the informative sections, there were movement and coordination exercises that allowed participants to interact with each other and make new contacts.

Around the start of the university sports programme on 13 October 2025, all interested parties had the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information at the University Sports information stand in front of the SSC together with the health insurance provider Techniker Krankenkasse. A large number of interested people took the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information between 10:00 and 14:00. In addition to the advisory services provided by Techniker Krankenkasse, "brain food" was also offered - a bag of delicious nuts and dried fruit. Another, very well-attended information stand was offered as part of the university fair of advisory and support services on 15 October 2025 at the SSC.
