From a taster session to a golf licence

As part of the 2026 summer term programme, the University Sports offered by the Sports Centre in cooperation with the Hofgut Praforst Hünfeld Golf Club offered a taster golf session. On 29 April, participants were given an initial insight into the sport of golf and were able to learn the basics under professional guidance.

In addition, several members of the university community took up the places reserved for the Sports Centre in the golf club’s course for the golf licence. The course took place from 12 June to 14 June and offered the opportunity to obtain the golf licence as the basis for playing independently.

The cooperation with the Hofgut Praforst Hünfeld Golf Club enabled an introduction to the sport of golf that was related to practice. The Sports Centre is delighted with the successful offer and would like to thank everyone involved for their support.
