Sustainability Office administrative unit

Our mission

 

The Sustainability Office (NHB) has been an administrative unit at the university since 1 January 2024 and is part of the Chancellor's department.

The Sustainability Office serves all members of the university and external parties as a point of contact for university-related sustainability issues. It acts as an interface to all organisational units and the Presidential Board, initiates and coordinates sustainability projects together with other university stakeholders and advises staff and students on sustainability issues.

Main tasks

  • Supervising the university's internal communication channels on the topic of sustainability, including newsletters
  • Sensitisation measures for sustainable development
  • Implementation of the climate protection concept and sustainability strategy
  • Project and event coordination for the Sustainability Office
  • Supervision of the campus garden project
