Bangladeshi students in Fulda (BSiF)

Intercultural exchange

The student university group “Bangladeshi Students in Fulda (BSiF)” was founded
to bring together Bangladeshi students and those interested in Bangladeshi
culture at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Our aim is to create a supportive,
inclusive and friendly environment in which students can network,
exchange ideas and support one another.

Support with university studies and everyday life

We provide support in particular to newly arrived students from Bangladesh as they settle in
in Fulda and Germany. We help with guidance on university studies, daily life,
accommodation and student life, and support exchange within our
community.

Cultural events and networking

In addition, we organise cultural and social events such as
Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year), Eid celebrations, summer BBQs and informal
community gatherings. At the same time, we aim to support intercultural exchange and raise awareness of
Bangladeshi culture within the university community.

Everyone is welcome – regardless of origin or cultural background.
