Opening of the Point Alpha Research Institute

In the summer of last year, the Point Alpha Foundation, the University of Applied Sciences Fulda, academics from the University of Erfurt and the town of Geisa founded the Point Alpha e.V. research institute. The institute will work across state borders, universities and disciplines. Based on Point Alpha as a place of history and remembrance, the aim is to generate findings in the fields of Cold War, border studies and democracy in the global order by examining historical processes.
The kick-off event will take place on 3 May 2022 in the Kulturhaus Geisa:
Part I: Geisa Talk
