Bablu Chakma is an Indigenous scholar from the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh. He is currently working as a research associate (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences under the research project “Shaping Future Society: The Mutual Constitution of Future-oriented Practices and Community”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). He completed his PhD in International Development Studies from the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy (IEE), Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. He has over five years of experience as a scholar-activist. His research interests include future and utopian studies, survival strategies, everyday politics, human rights, social movements, armed conflict, critical agrarian studies, identity politics, and Indigenous Peoples’ issues in general.
