3. For what purpose is my data used?

Your personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
Data is collected in the context of the Christmas Buddies project for Nursing and Health Sciences students to match German and international students and encourage joint activities in the Christmas period 2019, and is forwarded to the assigned buddy.

4. On what legal basis is my data used?

Use of your personal data by the University is legitimate on the basis of your consent.

5. Do I have to provide personal data?

Personal data for the above purposes is provided on a voluntary basis. You can object to your data being stored and utilised at any time.

6. Who receives my data?

Your data (last name, first name, email address) is disclosed only to your assigned buddy – a student of the Nursing and Health Sciences Department taking part in the Christmas Buddies project.

7. How long is my data stored?

The University deletes your personal data as soon as it is no longer needed for the Christmas Buddies project, otherwise as soon as you request it.

8. What data protection rights do I have?

The data protection regulations grant you the following rights: right of access (Article 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), right to object to the processing of personal data (Article 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR).
