For instructors
Are you a professor or lecturer and would like to introduce your students to library use or working with scientific sources? We offer various introductory programmes and training courses for your groups and can tailor the content to according to your individual wishes.
All dates are arranged on an individual basis. You can choose either a face-to-face or online format for the course.
Your students will receive information on how to use the HLB and familiarise themselves with the premises. We will familiarise them with the basics of researching in our search portal FILIP and explain the media arrangement.
Duration: approx. 45 min. or by arrangement
Meeting point for on-site tours: At the lockers in the entrance area at the Campus location.
We also offer training courses on databases and research strategies, e.g. in preparation for written assignments. The content of the course is organised according to your specifications.

Are you looking to integrate research training into your courses in a detailed and lasting way? In our department-specific course, students are familiarised with the library through self-employed practice classes and receive an introduction to searching and using catalogues and databases. On request, certificates of attendance can be issued for the course and/or a final test can be offered.
