The HLSB Fulda invites you to an evening with Boris von Brauchitsch on Tuesday, 20 October at 7 pm (doors open from 6.30 pm) in the reading room at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location.
She was an outsider everywhere: in Bremen, in Worpswede, in Paris – amongst the middle classes, in the provinces, in the cosmopolitan city. When Paula Modersohn-Becker died in 1907 at the age of thirty-one, no one realised just how groundbreaking and revolutionary her work was. Today, she is one of Germany’s most famous female painters.
The art historian, author and photographer Boris von Brauchtisch will present his biography of this important representative of early Expressionism.
The course is made possible in collaboration with the Friends of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences, State and Public Library (Förderverein der Hochschul-, Landes- und Stadtbibliothek Fulda e.V.). Registration is free of charge and can be completed via Eveeno. Places are limited. Further information is available at service-h-hlsb(at)hs-fulda.de or on 0661/9640 9850.
