Media backpacks
For children of pre-school age and older, the HLSB has put together media backpacks to promote reading.
Each backpack contains a diverse compilation of media on different topics, such as books, audio books, films or games, which provides an introduction to the respective topic and shows an overview of the media offered by the HLSB.
How long is the loan period?
The loan period is 28 days. Three further renewals are possible.
If the desired media backpack is already on loan, you can reserve it via FILIP.
How and where do I collect the backpacks?
The media backpacks are located in the children's and young people's department in the basement at Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz. The contents of the backpacks can be viewed there. However, no individual media can be borrowed from a backpack.
Items can only be borrowed and returned at the service counter in the children's and young people's department.
