Items for children are marked with red stickers, items for young adults with blue stickers.
Some books also have an interest group sticker on the spine indicating the topic of the book.

Picture book cinema
The picture book cinema is a media package with a picture book + DVD (with the illustrations of the book), often supplemented with educational material.
It is particularly suitable for media educational work in the elementary sector and in primary schools.

Kamishibai
The Kamishibai is a paper or storytelling theatre from Japan: pictures are put into a wooden stage frame (format: 33.0 x 46.0 cm). The storyteller opens the folding doors and begins to tell his story picture by picture. This method of picture-based storytelling is very popular in kindergarten and primary school.
How long is the loan period?
The loan period is four weeks. Three renewals are possible.
If the picture book cinema or Kamishibai you want is already on loan, you can place a hold via FILIP.
Where can I borrow picture book cinemas and kamishibais?
Picture book cinemas and kamishibais are located in the Children and Young Adults Department in the basement at Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location in the picture book section.
They can only be checked out and returned at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location.
