E-Journals

E-journals (electronic journals) are periodical titles that are available online.
E-journals usually have the same structure as printed journals or newspapers.

You can find e-journals via the FILIP search in the local holdings by restricting the number of hits to access type "online" and format "journal/newspaper".

Access is either free

or licenced for the HLSB.

Follow the link "Full text" and the instructions on the websites of the respective providers.

You can also find e-journals in the electronic journals library (EZB).

The access options to full-text articles are indicated by different coloured traffic light symbols:

The full text of the journal is freely accessible.

The journal is licensed by the HLSB and is accessible to users in full text. The contents can be downloaded from the university network (IP area).

The HLSB does not have a continuous licence for the journal. Therefore, only some of the published volumes are accessible in full text.

The journal is not subscribed to and therefore not available in full text.
However, tables of contents and often abstracts are available free of charge

You will also find e-journals from the non-academic field in the online lending service. Individual issues with digital rights management (DRM) can be temporarily stored on a device.
