"Learning with Fun" offers children, young people, students and adults simple and entertaining e-learning platforms and apps for school, university studies and continuing education.
Pupils in the district of Fulda can access the e-learning platforms free of charge via the University, State and Public Library thanks to funding from "Digital Hessen 2021".

The HLSB owns 845 manuscripts, including 228 from the Middle Ages, as well as 431 incunabula, i.e. prints from the time of Johannes Gutenberg's invention of printing until 1500.
Selected treasures from the historical stock are presented in the exhibition room, impressively illustrating the knowledge and wealth of past eras.

In the basement at Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz you will find a diverse selection of games - from card and board games to console games - under the corresponding shelf marks.
Did you know?In addition to video games, portable consoles can also be borrowed on loan for 28 days.
Games can be borrowed and returned at the service desks on the ground floor and basement. 15 games can be borrowed for 28 days per library card, with three renewals if no reservations have been made.
The HLSB regularly organises exhibitions, mainly at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location. In addition to changing special exhibitions on book and cultural history topics, you can also view valuable book treasures from our historic stock in the exhibition room on the ground floor and in the gallery area on the 1st floor.
In the Children and Young Adults Department, we present various art exhibitions, most of which are created in collaboration with schools.
