A reserve collection

• is aimed at the participants of a course or project in a topic- and target group-oriented way
• is limited in content to the subject matter of the course and does not contain a broader collection of books

The scope

• is a maximum of 30 titles and
• one copy per title

Reserve collections are part of the reference collection and therefore cannot be borrowed.

• Items from the reference collection (such as reference works, journals, loose-leaf editions)
• Titles of which a copy is already available in another reserve collection
• borrowable titles of which a copy is already in the reference collection.
• audiovisual and digital media
• items from the special collections (e.g. FFM, PKA, WSR)
• items from interlibrary loan
• titles of which there is also an electronic resource with unlimited simultaneous access (e.g. Springer e-books)
• professors' or lecturers' own scripts and source material
• literature from the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location

You will find the reserve collections on the ground floor at the Campus location in a separate shelf.
