Your account
Your library items on loan and any fees incurred are managed in a user account in the HLB lending system. You can access your account via the FILIP search portal.
To register in your account, you will need your library card number and password. You award yourself a password when you register via the enrolment form.
If you have forgotten your password, you can award yourself a new password via the link Forgot your password?
The condition is that a valid email address is entered in your library account.
For students of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences, this is always the university email address!
You can call up the following information in your account and change it if necessary:
| Loans/ extensions | Here you can see your borrowed library items with the return date and, if necessary, renew the lending periods. (confirmation of the renewal by re-entering the password is required!) |
| Reservations / Orders | Overview of the library items you have reserved, ordered and are ready to collect. |
| Interlibrary loan data | If you have an interlibrary loan account, you will find the link to your account in the HeBIS portal with the current status of your interlibrary loan requests and your interlibrary loan balance here. |
| Fees | Overview of any outstanding fees. |
| Personal details | Your contact details. You can change, delete or enter your email address here (this does not apply to students of Fulda University of Applied Sciences) and award yourself a new password. |
| Search history | Overview of all searches you have made after registering in your library account and the searches you have saved. |
| Watchlist | Overview of the hits you have saved from your search queries. You can print this out or export it to a reference management programme. |
