The HLSB holds almost 850 manuscripts in its collection, around 240 of which date from the Middle Ages (up to 1520).

The medieval manuscripts have already been catalogued according to the guidelines of the DFG and the catalogues have been published in a two-volume work:

Both volumes can be viewed online on FulDig, the digitisation server of the HLSB.

All of our medieval manuscripts have now been fully digitised and can be viewed free of charge on FulDig.
