The HLSB has acquired part of the former library of the Franciscan monastery Frauenberg, which was resolved in 2020, or taken over on the basis of a deposit contract.
The collection is listed in the HLSB's search portal FILIP. It comprises around 11,000 items.
In addition to old prints from the 16th century onwards, the collection comprises so-called Franciscana (writings, biographies, literature on the founders of the order Francis and Clare, on the history and spirituality of the order) as well as Fuldensia (literature on the city and region of Fulda) up to the year of publication 2018.

Use
Part of the historic collection has been digitised.
The non-digitised stock is not available on loan, but can be ordered for reference use in the Special Collections room at the campus location.
