Literature order form
For professors at Fulda University of Applied Sciences
At Fulda University of Applied Sciences, professors are primarily responsible for selecting the media available in the university library. They decide which literature is to be purchased, how many copies are needed and whether the media should be borrowable. We take over the procurement of the media and work them into the stock.
Library commissioners are appointed in each department for contact with the library. They will be able to answer any further questions you may have, as ordering authorisations and procedures are regulated differently in each department.
Who are the current library commissioners?

Who pays for it?
Each department covers the costs of acquiring new media from its budget. It is up to the department to decide what proportion of the budget is used for library orders.
How do you order?
You can order single titles and journal subscriptions via our online literature order form on the intranet. For multiple titles, a PDF form is also available there, which you can send to us by e-mail. Please fill in all fields as completely as possible and do not forget to state your cost centre.
How do you order e-books, e-journals or databases?
Electronic media and databases are generally purchased by the library via consortia, as this is considerably cheaper than purchasing them individually. It is not possible to order via the order form. This also applies to CD-ROMs, congress papers, research papers etc., which are usually not available in bookshops.
In these cases, please contact us directly and we will discuss the further procedure with you.
