A VPN (Virtual Private Network) enables you to establish a secure connection to the network of Fulda University of Applied Sciences from home or other external locations. This makes it possible to use our licensed electronic services (in short: e-media) from home. These include:

When using the VPN service, it is important that you first log in to the VPN programme with your FD number and the corresponding password and then open your internet browser to search. If you do not follow this order, your browser may remain in your private IP environment.
You will need a VPN client (AnyConnect client) and your user data (FD number + password), which you also use for accessing the WiFi network or for the university's Novell login.Instructions for installation and further information are available on the website of the HS Fulda IT support.
