Exhibition "Where is Eva Lehmann?"

The exhibition "Where is Eva Lehmann?" shows impressive comics about the short life of Eva Lehmann, a Jewish schoolgirl from Fulda.

Under the guidance of Berlin comic artist Elke Renate Steiner, pupils from the Rabanus Maurus School have artistically rediscovered Eva's story in an intense workshop - as drawn stories that are evocative, touching and thought-provoking.

The pictures express empathy, thoughtfulness and the question of what remembrance can mean today.

They tell of loss, courage and the desire to make the unspeakable visible - and thus to remember a young life that was extinguished during the National Socialist era.

The exhibition is a joint project of the Rabanus Maurus School, Fulda University of Applied Sciences and the University, State and Public Library of Fulda, supported by the Friends and Sponsors of the HLB Fulda e.V.

It can be visited during the opening times of the library at the Campus location (Leipziger Str. 123).
