Digital knowledge for older people

The Digital Angel, the mobile team of advisors on digital issues from Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN), is coming to Fulda on Tuesday, 24 March. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., interested parties can ask their questions about digital applications and the safe use of online offers - free of charge and in person. The offer is particularly aimed at older people - whether already active online or still offline - who want to expand their digital knowledge.

Shop online, use messenger services or book doctor's appointments via the internet: Digital applications can make everyday life easier. However, many senior citizens feel insecure or would like support. This is exactly where the Digital Angel comes in: The nationwide information programme from Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. helps older people to use digital media safely. Digital experts provide concrete and personalised advice on site, give valuable tips for everyday digital life and refer people to local points of contact and further training opportunities.

The open advisory service will take place on Tuesday, 24 March from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location of the University, State and Public Library in Fulda. Registration is not required.

In addition, the HLSB Fulda has been offering digital support for adults since this year with the DigitalFit workshops, which take place from March to October and can be attended free of charge.
