Shelf marks of the library

There are various shelf mark types in the HLSB, according to which the library items are organised. These usually begin with constant "local identifiers". The local identifiers group certain stocks according to type, borrowability and location. 
Some examples of the different shelf mark types:
RVK - Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (campus location, reading room location Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz).

21 /Local identifier: Reference to building, division and borrowability
HDRVK main group and subgroup, denotes the specialist field
232RVK fine group, designates the specialist field
M345Author name or title coding for subdivision within a specialist field
-3,2Volume numbering for multi-volume works

+8Copy count for multiple titles

ASB - General Classification for Libraries (location Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz)

Example: 49 / Uel 2 Roth
49 /Local identifier: Reference to building, division and borrowable items
Uel 2ASB notation, denotes the specialist field
RothInitial letters (of the title or author's name) for subdivision within a specialist field

ASB - Children's and Youth Library (location Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz)

47 /Local identifier: Reference to building, division and borrowable items
4.3Classification of children's and young adult literature by age group
CSubject area designation according to the first letters of the ASB

Example: 82/1289
82/Year of acquisition. Here: 1982, no reference to specialist fields
