Digitisation of analogue treasures
New offer from the library
Whether old photos, slides, sound or film recordings - everyone has their own personal treasures at home. You can now digitise them yourself in our library.
- Audio cassette to MP3 converter (can be used with USB stick)
- Video recorder (VHS cassette), this can be used with:
- Video digitiser (digitisation to USB stick or SD card)
- External CD drive
- Audio interface for connecting a playback device to a laptop
- Laptop (with appropriate software)
- Digitising device for photos, slides and negatives (on SD card)
We cannot provide suitable playback devices for all forms of media. However, you have the option of bringing your playback device and any necessary cables with you and connecting them to our digitisation devices.
You should bring an empty USB stick or SD card with you for digitisation, as the storage medium may need to be formatted in order to be recognised.
Please note that you will need headphones (not Bluetooth headphones) for some of the devices in order to monitor the audio track. We do not provide these for hygiene reasons.
Attention: Please note that we cannot accept any liability for any damage to your library items caused by digitisation equipment provided by us.
