Roll container
Doctoral students and students of Fulda University of Applied Sciences who have registered their Bachelor's or Master's thesis are provided on request with roll containers for storing borrowed items and learning material in the library.
Simply come to the service desk at the Campus location during our service hours. The roll container will be booked to your loan account like a medium and the corresponding key will be issued. Passing on the key to third parties or use of the roll container by third parties is not permitted.
The roll container is issued at the service desk during service hours. The roll container must be checked for any damage upon handover. Any damage must be reported to the staff immediately and confirmed in writing. If no report is made, it is assumed that the roll container was handed over in perfect condition.
You may include borrowed library items, your own books and learning materials. You may not lock in items that are not borrowed, reference copies or books from Reserve Collections as well as food or bags.
The library staff is authorised to check the book trolley and to remove items that are not permitted, e.g. books from the HLB's stock that have not been borrowed or food. Removed food will be disposed of, any deposits will be forfeited.
The loss of the key must be reported to the staff immediately. The library accepts no liability for damage caused by the loss of the key. In case of loss of the key, the contents of the book trolley will only be handed over upon presentation of the library card (if applicable, a photo ID such as identity card/passport).
You are liable for any damage caused by improper use of the trolley. Costs for repair or replacement of the book trolley will be charged if necessary.
