11.12.2023

Researchers from around the world presented their latest findings and exchanged views on knowledge production and human rights at the conference.

The international conference “Knowledge Production and Human Rights”, held at Hochschulzentrum Fulda Transfer from the 27th to the 29th of November 2023, brought together 120 researchers and students from 15 countries. Over the three-day conference, researchers from both our partner universities and other institutions worldwide presented their latest research findings and exchanged views on knowledge production and human rights. Additionally, three keynote speeches by Prof. Louise Morley from the University of Sussex, Prof. Dr. Heike Kahlert from Ruhr University Bochum, and Prof. Dr. Aram Ziai from Kassel University on queer theory and gender-related issues in higher education, as well as knowledge production in conflicts over anti-Semitism in Germany, further inspired participants, stimulating academic and intercultural exchange. The conference was organized within the framework of the project “Transnational Governance and Human Rights” (HAW.International) and the Fulda Graduate Centre of Social Sciences (FGCSS) by Prof. Dr. Carola Bauschke-Urban, Dorina Dedgjoni, and Prof. Dr. Eva Gerharz.
