HAWFulda International Days December 1-3, 2021

Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Fulda UAS) is the only university of applied sciences in the state of Hesse to be accepted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) on its new funding programme, Internationalisation of Universities of Applied Sciences, UAS.International. With this programme, DAAD aims to help universities of applied sciences enhance their international standing.

The Departement of Nursing and Health Sciences (PG) and the International Office (IO) of Fulda University of Applied Sciences jointly organise International Days to be held from December 1 to 3, 2021.

The event is the closure of the DAAD-funded project HAWFulda.International and brings together representatives of partner universities and practice partners from around the world. In various workshops, which have to be organised as hybrid sessions because of the current pandemic situation, the heads of the HAWFulda.International project, Prof. Dr. Dr. Jens Holst and Prof. Dr. Kai Michelsen, together with the head of the IO, Ms Julia-Sophie Rothmann, will draw conclusions, discuss the lessons learned and reflect about the way forwards together with their counterparts from European, African and North-American universities. The event is framed by presentations of a representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva and of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) who will present about current development and workforce needs in global health. Interested staff and of course interested students are invited to join the launch session on Wednesday afternoon and the closing event on Friday morning.

Please find attached the programme of the three-day workshop.
